Goodbye Vegas, Hello Provo!

So basically I am totally out of my element! Haha... I am 383.52 miles away from home! Yesterday was my first day of the class I am taking at Late Summer Honors. It is basically going into depth more about the disciple John and his writings. The first day was so overwhelming I had to call my mom after! I had no clue what was going on and I just wanted to go home! So sad... but any who... I said a prayer that I would be able to get through all the reading (80 pages just last night) and that I would be able to understand the class and learn and grow more from it. Today was much better. The class went good, I participated as much as I could and I followed along in the scriptures and the other books. So preparation is good! In fact it is great! But yesterday I had to purchase myself the basic BYU gear... a sweatshirt, and a football shirt... haha... the bookstore is huge! It even has its own candy store in it! But yes today class went good... the devotional this morning was particularly good. The speaker spoke about how BYU is such a unique opportunity and members elsewhere only dream of coming here. He said to take advantage of all the school has to offer... and to not fall into the same pattern and begin to take for granted the opportunity this is. So I will have to remember that and definitely take advantage of all the nifty and amazing things it has to offer. But yes... I am missing home... indeed my little brothers and my mom... and everyone from work and church and my friends... but I am so excited to be on this new path in life. I am way excited because my Mom and my Uncle Mike are coming up tonight because tomorrow I am moving into my fall housing in Wyview Park! Yay so pretty... Here's a picture! Just to show my excitement! I haven't seen them personally... this is just the picture off of the BYU website!

But yes... I am mucho excited because tonight my Mom and I are going to go eat food and then go on a Provo adventure! Shall be fun! Whoo Hoo! Talk to ya'll soon!
